Day of ePerolehan Customer Day saw a big turnout from the government

On
the third day of the ePerolehan Customer Day
at the Finance Ministry, an accumulated 209 purchase orders were recorded
valued at RM3.6 million ringgit.
An estimated 700 representatives of various companies came to attend the
seminars, and witnessed “live” ePerolehan
transactions. Starting at
9:00
am
,
the Exhibition Hall was filled with close to 400 representatives from the
government procurement centres or PTJ (Pusat TanggungJawab).

In
an on–camera interview, some of the representatives of the PTJs
said, there is a need for all PTJs to fully
understand how ePerolehan works fast, as it

District Health Office and her colleagues came to see how decision makers
in the health industry can make better decisions faster by adopting ePerolehan.

government procurement agencies and suppliers to use the ePerolehan
Platform as it saves time and money.
She added, ePerolehan
is a good learning experience for her.
She is now learning new skills, in addition to education related
management work.

Islamic Media’s Business Development Manager, Don Putra
Mustafa, came to learn how to use ePerolehan.
According to him, his staff will be trained to have the catalogues
ready, the soonest possible. His
company has already registered with ePerolehan,
and is eager to start seeing transactions.

Meanwhile,
Commerce Dot Com (CDC) Assistant Vice President,
Reza
Ali,
in an interview with TV3’s
Buletin
Utama, said, there are many types of suppliers
that CDC are assisting at the moment, ranging from suppliers who are
surprised to see orders as soon as they start using ePerolehan,
to first time users of computers.
The
ePerolehan Customer Day is also a place for
suppliers to network with other suppliers, PTJs,
and consultants.
